JUPEB Advert

APPLICATIONS are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission in the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations board (JUPEB) programme  for 2017/2018 session. 
Applicants should note that the application will run from 25th may to 18th August, 2017. The programme leads the award of JUPEB certificate which enables candidates gain admission through direct Entry admissions into their respective second year degree programme in the University of Nigeria, Nsuuka and other JUPEB- affiliate Universities in Nigeria and abroad.
ELIGIBILITY: Eligible candidates must possess minimum of 5 credits at Maximum of two sittings in at least 5 Subjects ( inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidate's desired course of study in the University.
DURATION:  The duration of the programme is a minimum of one academic session of two semesters


AVAILABLE SUBJECT COMBINATION INCLUDE:-

ARTS: History/Literature/Christian Rel. Studies (HLCRS), Economics/History/lit-in-English (EHL) History/Igbo/CRS (HICRS), Igbo/Lit-in-English/CRS (ILCRS), History/Igbo/French (HIF) etc

SOCIAL SCIENCES: Government/Economics/Mathematics(GEM). Government/ Economics/Geography (GEG), Literature/Economics/Geography(LEG),Biology/Economics/Government (BEG),Govt/LIt/CRS (GLCRS), Biology/Govt/ CRS (BGCRS), etc.

MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: Business Studies/Accounting/Mathematics (BAM),Mathematis/Accounting/Geography (MAG), Government/Economics/Mathematics (GEM),etc.

SCIENCES: Agric Science/Biology/Chemistry (ABC), Physics/ Chemistry/Mathematics(PCM), Physics/Chemistry/Biology (PCB) etc.

Candidates are to Note that the above subject combination meet the requirements (as applicable) for admission into degree programmes in the Sciences, Social Sciences,Management science and Arts Courses in all JUPEB- affiliated Universities in Nigeria including University of Nigeria Nsukka.


METHOD OF APPLICATION
Pay the acceptance fee of N20,000.00 through the Remita platform at any Bank.
You are to generate a payment invoice which contains a remita number, the invoice printout will enable you make your payment at the bank. (please NOTE that Bank charges apply and must be paid).
  • Visit unnportal.unn.edu.ng 
  • click on the, Fill JUPEB, inter University
  • click on generate invoice under Jupeb
  • Enter the telephone number and click on submit
  • Enter your Surname, First name, Middle name and click on submit
  • print out your invoice and proceed to the bank
  • After making payment at the bank, visit the portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng )
  • Click of fill Joint University Parliamentary Education Board programme.
  • Enter your remita number and click on submit.
  • fill the form and attach your passport photograph (colour passport with white background)
  • the passport must be recent ( not earlier than 3 months before the application) and the size should not be more than 100kb
  • complete the form and click on submit
  • print out your acknowledgement slip.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
  • Applicants of the 2017/2018 preliminary programme should visit the University website from time to time for the actual date of the entrance exams and relevant information
  • All candidates are required to register for 2018 direct entry UTME during the progromme.
  • All candidates are required to use a valid E-mail addresses and personal telephone numbers.
  • The form must be filled and submitted online  either immediately or within two weeks of assessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies or forms will be accepted.
  • Applicants are to note that 2017/2018 entrance exam shall hold at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Campus within the 1st week of September, 2017
  • Candidates are advised to follow the Application instructions very carefullyand ensure that the select the correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS. Failure to adversely affect the candidate.

Submission of online forms will close on FRIDAY, 18th August 2017 at 11:59pm.

To this effect, the department of Plant Science and Biotechnology organised her departmental week. The week started yesterday which was the Cooperate day for the department. The most interesting day in the week is today which is the Old School Day.    The old school day is a day set aside to appear on old school attire.
